How much does a hearing aid cost at Silver Audition?

At Silver Audition, a pair of Phonak hearing aids costs from CHF 2,900 to CHF 6,600, all inclusive: device, custom fitting, follow-up and adjustments. That is up to CHF 3,000 less than elsewhere in Switzerland on the Phonak range. What do the AI/IV, the AVS/AHV and other insurance schemes reimburse?

The AVS/AHV old-age insurance pays CHF 1,237.50 for two devices and CHF 630 for one, renewable every 5 years. Before AVS/AHV retirement age, the AI/IV disability insurance pays CHF 1,650 and CHF 840, renewable every 6 years, to insured persons who meet its eligibility conditions. In both cases, an assessment by an approved ENT physician is required for a first fitting. In the event of an accident, SUVA and military insurance cover up to CHF 3,200, and supplementary insurance can add up to CHF 1,000, depending on your policy.

Is the 3-week trial really without obligation?

Yes. The hearing test and the 3-week trial are free, with devices tuned to your hearing, and with no obligation to buy. You decide when you are ready.

How is this different from a large chain?

Is there a totally invisible hearing aid?

Yes, the Phonak Lyric: placed deep in the ear canal, it is 100% invisible and is worn 24/7 for months, even while sleeping or in the shower. It is available in Morges and Vevey.

What is new from Phonak for autumn 2026?

Phonak EON, presented in Switzerland on 14 September 2026, replaces the Infinio generation: the Audéo EON Sphere comes in three levels (E50, E70 and E90), the Audéo EON R in four (E30 to E90) and the CROS system moves to the Cros E-R. An Infinio device cannot be updated to EON: it is new hardware. Silver Audition offers it with a free 3-week trial in Morges and Vevey, at the all-inclusive prices published on this site.
