Your questions before booking
What is included in the free consultation?
A full hearing assessment, analysis of the results, and a counselling interview. Most often, it also includes a trial of hearing aids, at no cost and with no obligation. You leave with a measurement of your hearing and its explanation, whether or not you decide to go further. If a trial is offered, it lasts 3 weeks, with no obligation to purchase, using hearing aids programmed for your hearing loss, not loaned in a standard configuration.
Do I need to see an ENT doctor before coming?
No. You can come directly for a hearing evaluation. An ENT consultation becomes necessary in only one case: to obtain the AVS/AHV or AI/IV benefit package when getting hearing aids for the first time, an assessment by an approved ENT physician is mandatory. The order does not matter: some patients come to us first and then see the ENT for the assessment, others arrive with the assessment already completed. For a renewal under the same conditions, it is no longer required, but it remains recommended. On the other hand, certain signs call for a medical consultation without delay: a sudden hearing loss, pain, discharge, or dizziness.

Do you have centres other than Morges and Vevey?
No: two centres, one in Morges and one in Vevey, and no other branch. Silver Audition is not part of any chain: the company was founded by Silvana Filoso, a qualified engineer, who now leads the team of hearing care professionals. This independence has a direct consequence for you: no head office imposes sales targets on us, and we choose freely from the entire Phonak catalogue.
